You can visit the wgl.com website to read product, company, employment, and investment information without identifying yourself and without revealing any personal information. The only information we collect and store during this type of website usage is the name of your Internet provider, the website that referred you to us, the pages you requested and the date and time of the request. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to make the website more useful to all who visit. Cookies and Monitoring Web Traffic
Cookies are bits of electronic information a website can transfer to your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow a website to recognize a visitor as a repeat visitor and to retrieve information the visitor previously submitted so it does not have to be resubmitted. WGL does use cookies. The cookies used do not collect personal information; rather the cookies generate a random number and place it on your machine. The next time you visit the WGL website, you will be recognized through this number, but no other information will be collected. If you would like, you can disable your cookies on your Internet browser and continue to use the WGL website. You not using cookies will not hinder the use of our website.
Changes to the Policy
WGL reserves the right to update or revise this Policy at our discretion. Please check the Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of this website following the posting of any changes to the Policy constitutes your acceptance of these changes.
